So excited to join PeopleForBikes.org for another epic fundraising endeavor and ride! Oh -And - I'll be auctioning off an entry to the 2016 sold-out Dirty Kanza 200 The World's Premiere Endurance Gravel Road Race to assist with my fundraising efforts -here's how to enter: 

$5: 1 raffle ticket entered in the bowl (less than your morning mocha!)
$25 donation: 6 raffle tickets entered in the bowl
$50 donation: 12 raffle tickets entered in the bowl
$100 donation: 24 raffle tickets entered in the bowl

First race of 2016 in the books!

Nothing like kicking off your season in JANUARY!!  But that's what I did last Saturday -- with my first, ever Fat Bike Race!

Drove up to Winter Park to the Colorado Adventure Center and we were underway at 330pm in balmy teen-temperatures.  (BRRRRRR).

You're on your own on the trails/in the woods and there were a few times I swore for sure I'd end up stuck in waist-deep snow freezing to death in the dark...

But then I was done and it was AWESOME ;)  And I finished 2nd!
