First race of 2016 in the books!

Nothing like kicking off your season in JANUARY!!  But that's what I did last Saturday -- with my first, ever Fat Bike Race!

Drove up to Winter Park to the Colorado Adventure Center and we were underway at 330pm in balmy teen-temperatures.  (BRRRRRR).

You're on your own on the trails/in the woods and there were a few times I swore for sure I'd end up stuck in waist-deep snow freezing to death in the dark...

But then I was done and it was AWESOME ;)  And I finished 2nd!
